Contest Rules

Contest Rules

General rules applicable to all contests and advertising lotteries organised via QronoPlay.

This translation is provided for information purposes only. The French version is legally binding.

Article 0 — Advertising lottery without obligation to purchase

The contests organised via the QronoPlay platform are free advertising lotteries without any obligation to purchase. Participation is open to any adult natural person residing in the European Union, with no requirement to purchase a product or service from the organising brand beforehand.

In accordance with article L. 121-36 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), no purchase or payment is required to take part in the contests and advertising lotteries offered via QronoPlay. Any optional purchase has no impact whatsoever on the chances of winning.

Article 1 – Organising company

The company organising each contest run via the QronoPlay platform is identified in each campaign. QronoPlay acts as the technical service provider.

Platform: SAS Jalimani, SIREN 833 142 631, 3 chasse aux Gresles 50630 Quettehou, France
SIRET: 83314263100013
Email: [email protected]
DPO: [email protected]

Article 2 – Conditions of entry

Contests are open to any adult natural person residing in metropolitan France, unless otherwise stated in the specific rules of each campaign.

Excluded from participation:

  • Employees of the organising company and of QronoPlay
  • Members of their immediate family (spouse, children, parents)
  • Any person who took part in organising the contest

Article 3 – How to enter

Entry is made by scanning a QR code or clicking on a link provided by the organising company. Each entry requires:

  • A valid email address or phone number
  • Acceptance of consent for the processing of personal data
  • Compliance with entry limits (number of attempts per day/campaign)

Technical safeguards: The system can detect and block fraudulent entries (same email, same device, same IP address).

Article 4 – Period of validity

The start and end dates of each contest are indicated in the campaign details. Any entry submitted outside of these dates will be automatically rejected by the system.

QR codes: Each QR code is only valid for the day for which it was generated. Expired QR codes can no longer be used to enter.

Article 5 – Prizes and prize allocation

Prizes vary depending on the campaign and are detailed in the specific rules. Prizes are allocated using one of several mechanisms:

  • Instant win: Immediate random draw with adaptive algorithm
  • Random draw: Random selection among participants on a given date
  • Skill-based games: Prize awarded upon successful completion of the challenge

Daily quotas: Prizes are distributed according to daily quotas set by the organising company. Once the quota is reached, subsequent entries do not result in a prize.

Article 6 – Notification of winners

Winners are notified by email or SMS within a maximum of 7 days following their entry or the random draw.

Claiming a prize: Winners have 30 days to claim their prize. After that period, the prize is considered forfeited and can no longer be claimed.

Article 7 – Delivery of prizes

Prize delivery methods vary depending on the nature of the prize:

  • Promotional codes: Sent by email immediately
  • Discount vouchers: Sent by email, usable in store or online
  • Physical gifts: Sent by post after the address has been collected
  • Cash prizes: Paid by bank transfer

Delivery time: Physical gifts are dispatched within 6 to 8 weeks after the winner's full contact details have been validated.

Article 8 – Personal data and GDPR

Personal data collected during entry is processed in accordance with the GDPR. It is processed electronically for the following purposes:

  • Managing entry into the contest
  • Allocating and delivering prizes
  • Producing anonymised statistics
  • With consent: sending marketing communications

Your rights: Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to and port your personal data.

To exercise these rights: [email protected]
More information: Privacy Policy

Article 9 – Intellectual property

All elements of the contest (graphics, text, logos, game mechanics) are protected by copyright and belong to the organising company or to QronoPlay.

Any unauthorised reproduction, representation or use is prohibited and constitutes infringement punishable under the French Intellectual Property Code.

Article 10 – Liability

The organising company and QronoPlay cannot be held liable for:

  • Technical issues preventing access to the contest or entry
  • Loss, theft or fraudulent use of credentials
  • Incomplete, illegible or late entries
  • Failure to receive notification emails (spam, full inbox, etc.)

In the event of force majeure, the organising company reserves the right to cancel, postpone or modify the contest without incurring any liability.

Article 11 – Disputes and complaints

Any complaint relating to the contest must be sent by email to the organising company or to QronoPlay within 30 days following the end of the contest.

Mediation: In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be submitted to the competent courts.

Article 12 – Modification and cancellation

The organising company reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the contest in exceptional circumstances, in particular:

  • Detection of large-scale fraud
  • Major technical issues
  • Force majeure
  • Decision by the competent authorities

In the event of cancellation, participants will be informed by email and no compensation will be due.

Article 13 – Filing of the rules

The full rules are made available free of charge to participants for the entire duration of the contest. A filing with a judicial officer (commissaire de justice, formerly huissier de justice) may be carried out at the request of the organising brand — this step is no longer mandatory since the French Hamon Law of 2014 (loi Hamon 2014), but remains good practice for contests with significant commercial stakes.

A copy of the full rules can be obtained free of charge upon simple request by email to the contact address of the organising company.

Article 14 – Governing law

These rules are governed by French law. Any dispute falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.

The contests are organised in accordance with articles L. 322-1 et seq. of the French Internal Security Code (Code de la sécurité intérieure).

Article 15 – Acceptance of the rules

Entry into the contest implies full and unreserved acceptance of these rules. The rules are permanently accessible via the link provided at the time of entry.
